Understanding what it takes to play Collegiate Soccer in North America!

Solid life skills, a well though out plan, and a burning desire to play is what it takes to play college soccer.
- The NCAA student athlete programs concentrate on these life skills - cognitive skills, personal skills and interpersonal skills. In one word these skills could be denoted as "maturity" - University coaches simply do not have the time and are not paid well enough to be a surrogate parent.
- A well thought out plan means you do not serve soccer - soccer serves you. Being the strongest player on the weakest team always pays better than the weakest player on the strongest team.
- A burning desire to play, means you will research schools that fit you and train to match the athletic and technical skill you need to make the roster. A burning desire to play means you completely understand the pillars and principles of play. These will ensure your financial outlays for camps, telephone calls and emails are not wasted time...
